Sessions Live is Esther Perel’s annual clinical conference — a two-day gathering for therapists, clinicians, and curious minds who want to think deeply about desire, connection, and vitality in the modern world.
The event blends clinical insight, cultural analysis, and real-world complexity. Rather than offering quick fixes, Sessions Live creates space for thoughtful inquiry, rigorous conversation, and renewed perspective.
This year’s guiding question is:
How do we cultivate aliveness in a time defined by disruptions?

Expect a sonic assault of trans/queer/femme-fronted rock, no-wave, synth-punk, shoegaze, indie, riot grrl, goth, and hardcore and all the other best genres.

On the evening of Wednesday, October 23, 2024, we held our third annual benefit in New York City, generously hosted in NYC's the Village at the gorgeous private library of Dr. Andrew Solomon and his husband John Habich Solomon.
At this year’s benefit, we were thrilled to honor KATE BORNSTEIN, who has ushered us into a world of limitless possibility, with humor and spunk, through over 30 years of nonbinary activism.
Remarks by CFLC Founder & Executive Director Diana Adams, Senior Legal Director Andy Izenson, nonbinary activist trailblazer Kate Bornstein, and bestselling author & LGBTQ rights activist Dr. Andrew Solomon were given in support a future for all families in New York City and beyond.
Our annual gala is an an inspiring night that attendees have dubbed "the queer formal of their dreams!" We hope you'll join us next year for a night of connection and inspiration to help raise the funds we need to continue our life-saving work!
